Using downloaded fixtures effectively
The downloaded fixture file serves multiple purposes for competition management:
- Review fixture details offline Open the downloaded CSV file in your preferred spreadsheet application to review game details including dates, times, venues, and team matchups. Use the data for referee management or to compare fixtures before and after making changes.
- Restore fixtures if needed If fixture changes need to be undone or restored, upload the previously downloaded fixture file without modification using the Fixture Upload feature. The system uses the same template format for seamless reimporting.
What's included and excluded from the generated file?
Fixture downloads capture the real-time state of your fixture at the moment of download and include only future rounds and games for regular grades. This means past rounds, finals fixtures, Cup competitions, pre-season fixtures, and friendlies are excluded. The file follows the standard fixture upload template format for consistency.
