Configuring Club Votes

Overview

Club votes and participant awards let you track and manage player recognition throughout the season, such as "Best and Fairest" or "Player of the Match" awards. 

This feature allows club administrators to configure different voting structures and point allocations to recognise participant performance based on your competition's specific requirements.

Award configurations are set at the competition level and can be customised for each grade or division as needed. 

Setting up award vote configurations

Before enabling club participant awards, ensure you've accepted an invite into a competition, and added teams.

  1. Navigate to your Competition
    1. Select Competitions in the side menu
    2. Locate and select the competition you want to configure awards for
    3. Click the View button to enter the competition dashboard
  2. Configure Award Settings
    1. Select the Teams tab from the competition navigation
    2. Locate and click the Configure Awards button
    3. In the configuration panel, you'll see options for:
      • Voting structure (e.g. 3-2-1; 5-4-3-2-1, etc.)
      • How many voters
      • Who can submit votes
    4. Customise these settings according to your competition's requirements
    5. Click Save to apply your award configuration

Editing award vote configurations for specific teams

You can configure different vote configurations per team in each competition.

  1. Navigate to your competition and select the Teams tab
  2. Select View for a Team to navigate to their squad page
  3. Switch to the Awards tab in the squad page
  4. Select Edit Award
  5. In the configuration panel, you'll see options for:
    1. Updating the Award Name for the team
    2. Voting structure (e.g. 3-2-1; 5-4-3-2-1, etc.)
    3. How many voters
    4. Who can submit votes
  6. Customise these settings according to your competition's requirements
  7. Click Save to apply your award configuration

Note: If votes have been entered for a team, it's not possible to update the vote configuration.

Viewing and reporting on award standings

Monitor award progress throughout the season and generate reports when needed.

  1. Navigate to your competition and select the Teams tab
  2. Select View for a Team to navigate to their squad page
  3. Switch to the Awards tab in the squad page
  4. View award standings or select Print Report to download a copy
