Viewing player offences including fouls or cards

Overview

PlayHQ's offence tracking system lets you monitor player discipline incidents like red cards, yellow cards, technical fouls, and disqualifying fouls across your competitions.

The system provides two viewing options: Summary view shows total offences per player for the season, while Date view displays individual incidents with specific match details. All offence data is automatically updated when match officials record incidents during games.

This article provides a guide on how to utilise the Summary view and Date View features to manage and review these incidents.

Understanding offence view types

Summary View

Shows accumulated totals for each player across the entire season. Use this view to:

• Identify players approaching suspension thresholds
• Review overall discipline patterns in your competition
• Generate season-end discipline reports

Date View

Displays individual offence incidents with match details. Use this view to:

• Investigate specific incidents
• Track offences chronologically

Competition-wide offence tracking

To access the Summary view of the Offence List at a competition level:

1. As an Association Administrator, navigate to the Competition Management section in the Admin Portal.
2. Select your desired Season
3. From the menu options in your competition season, click on More > Offence List.

Switch between view types

1. Default view shows Summary with season totals per player
2. Toggle to Date View to see individual incidents
3. Use filters to narrow results by team, grade, or offence type

Team-specific offence tracking

Club or Association Admins can review the offences accumulated by team squad players within the team squad list.

1. Navigate to a Team squad list page
2. On the Players Tab you will see the fouls or cards summary for each participant in that team for that season

Viewing offences in MyTeams

Club coaches, team managers and captains can track their team's discipline record through MyTeams if they have Management Access enabled.

To access this feature:

1. Log in to MyTeams
2. Click on 'Squad'
3. Next to players, you will find the fouls or cards summary for each participant in that team for that season
