Adding Electronic Scoring Administrators

Overview

Electronic scoring administrators have specialised access to manage live game scoring through the dedicated electronic scoring portal in PlayHQ. This role is separate from standard administrative permissions and focuses specifically on match-day scoring duties.

Both association and club administrators can appoint electronic scoring admins for their organisation.

Adding an electronic scoring administrator

  1. Access Admin Management
    1. Navigate to My Organisation > Admins
    2. Click 'Invite new admin'
  2. Configure Admin Details
    1. Enter the person's email address and name
    2. Select 'Electronic Scoring Admin' as the Role Type
    3. Add any relevant notes about their responsibilities
    4. Click 'Invite Admin'

The invited person will receive an email invitation to accept their electronic scoring administrator role.

Understanding permissions

Electronic scoring administrators can:

  • Access the electronic scoring portal (score.playhq.com)
  • Set up scoring sessions for authorised venues and dates
  • Manage live game scoring including team lineups, scores and events like fouls
  • Finalise completed games

They cannot access other administrative functions within the main admin portal.

Managing existing access

To modify or remove electronic scoring admin access:

  1. Navigate to My Organisation > Admins
  2. Find the relevant administrator
  3. Use the edit or remove options to adjust their access
