Overview

Team managers and other team staff with management access can score club games directly through each of the PlayHQ mobile apps. This provides an alternative to the dedicated electronic scoring portal.

Access requires appropriate permissions by an association administrator and in the team squad settings.

Note: this is currently available to club teams only.

Prerequisites

Before accessing e-scoring using your mobile, ensure:

• Electronic scoring is enabled for the grade by an association administrator
• Your team was created by a club (not individually registered or created by an association)
• You have management access enabled within your team squad
• You have a PlayHQ mobile app installed and updated to the latest version
• Ensure you are logged in to your PlayHQ account within the mobile app

Starting a mobile scoring session from the app

1. Access Your Game
   1. Open the PlayHQ mobile app
   2. Navigate to your team's fixture
   3. Select the game you need to score
2. Begin Scoring
   1. Look for the Score Game option - this will appear within an hour of the game start time
   2. Tap to start your scoring session - as you are already logged in to the mobile app, you won't be required to re-enter your account details
   3. Follow the prompts to confirm the team lineups and being scoring the game

Starting a mobile scoring session from MyTeams (web browser)

For participants using the web browser version of MyTeams:

1. Access Through MyTeams
   1. Login to playhq.com and go to My Account
   2. Navigate to MyTeams your web browser
   3. Locate your scheduled game and switch to the Manage view
   4. Click Score Game -  this will only appears within one hour of the game start time

2. Automatic Session Setup

   1. A new tab will open directing you to the electronic scoring platform
   2. Log in with your PlayHQ account credentials to validate access
   3. You'll be taken directly to your specific game interface

   Note: The Score Game button remains visible throughout the game duration and will disappear once final results are submitted.

Mobile scoring capabilities

The mobile app provide the same scoring functions as if you were to access this via the electronic scoring portal:

• Manage team lineups
• Manage the game clock
• Record scores and results
• Manage any breaks in play
• Submit final scores
