Before you begin
Have your device’s default mapping application downloaded.
Getting directions from within a game centre
- Open the Summary tab within any Game Centre in your sport’s PlayHQ mobile app
- Under Game Details, tap on the venue’s Location Map to open the venue details in your phone’s default maps app (either Maps on Apple Devices, or Google Maps on Android Devices)
- Alternatively, copy the Venue Address details into your preferred mapping application
- Choose your preferred route and transportation method to get directions to the game’s venue
- Start navigation when ready to depart
💡 If you’d like to see venue details for your team’s games within your phone’s calendar, you can choose to sync fixtures to your calendar and adjust your event notification settings within your preferred calendar application.
If you encounter issues
- Incorrect venue address? Report address errors by sharing a screenshot of the venue details screen to your club contact, and help improve venue accuracy for all users.
- Maps app not opening? Check that you have your device’s default maps application installed. Try copying the venue address and pasting this into your preferred mapping application.
- Missing venue information? Some facilities may have limited details available. Check with your team manager or competition organiser for additional venue-specific information.
