Sync schedules to your Calendar

What you'll achieve

Automatically add all your sporting commitments to your phone's calendar, preventing scheduling conflicts and helping coordinate family activities.

Before you begin

Ensure you have any PlayHQ mobile app installed and are logged into your account with at least one profile in your account holding an active team registration.

Enabling calendar synchronisation

  1. Navigate to either a Grade Fixture or Team Fixture page
  2. Tap Sync to Calendar
    1. If you selected to sync a Grade Fixture, then choose to sync all matches or only specific team schedules to your calendar.
    2. If you selected to sync a Team Fixture, you can skip ahead to the next step!
  3. Select your preferred calendar application from the list
  4. Follow the steps to grant permission when prompted to add the team(s) schedule to your calendar

If you encounter issues

  • The Sync to Calendar button is not available? Check that you are logged in to the PlayHQ mobile app, and that the grade or team schedule that you are viewing has upcoming games. It’s not possible to sync a grade or team fixture to your calendar without future games scheduled.
  • Events not appearing in calendar? Check that PlayHQ has calendar access permission in your phone's privacy settings. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the calendar sync.
  • Outdated information in calendar? If a recent change was made to a scheduled game but isn’t appearing in your phone’s calendar yet, check back in a couple of hours. You can see your Team Schedule from the Home page in the PlayHQ mobile app for the most up to date game details.
  • Sync working for some teams but not others? Verify that your team has upcoming games in the grade you subscribed to sync updates from. If your team was recently regraded and game updates are no longer appearing in your phone’s calendar, try disconnecting and reconnecting the calendar sync through the team’s new grade page.

What happens next

Your calendar will automatically update when fixtures are rescheduled, cancelled, or when new events are added. Changes typically appear soon after updates have been made in PlayHQ.
