  2. Enabling e-scoring for existing grades
  3. Managing grade-level scoring permissions

Overview

Electronic scoring allows clubs and team staff to enter match scores while a game is live, reducing administrative workload and providing real-time scoring updates. When enabled, authorised users can access the electronic scoring portal to manage live game scoring.

The feature can be activated at competition creation or enabled for individual grades at any time through grade settings.

Setting up e-scoring for new competitions

When creating a new competition, you can set electronic scoring as the default for all grades:

  1. Access Competition Setup
    1. Navigate to Competitions > Create New Competition
    2. Progress through the standard setup steps
    3. Find Grade Defaults section
  2. Configure Default Settings
    1. Toggle 'Allow clubs to enter scores via electronic scoring' to ON
    2. Complete remaining competition setup
    3. Save your competition

All new grades created within this competition will automatically have electronic scoring enabled.

Enabling e-scoring for existing grades

To activate electronic scoring for grades that are already created:

  1. Navigate to Grade Settings
    1. Go to your competition
    2. Select the specific grade
    3. Click Settings
  2. Configure Electronic Scoring Options
    1. Find Club Access Settings within the Grade settings
    2. Toggle 'Allow clubs to enter scores via electronic scoring' to ON
    3. Optional: Toggle 'Allow clubs to assign scores to teams only' if you want to restrict scoring to team totals without individual player statistics
    4. Save your changes

The grade will now allow electronic scoring for all scheduled fixtures.

When team-only scoring is enabled, scorers can assign points to teams rather than needing to attribute each score to a player in a team.
