To access your profile or begin a registration, you'll first need to either log in or create a PlayHQ account. The details in this article describe the process of creating a new PlayHQ account using AFLiD Single Sign On (SSO). Any PlayHQ account with AFLiD SSO also has a PlayHQ email and password as a login option (two login options to the same account).

Follow these steps to create a PlayHQ account using AFLiD
- Choose the "Login" or "Sign Up" option
- Click login with AFLiD button
- Follow the AFLiD prompts to sign into an AFLiD account or create an AFLiD account
- You will be logged into PlayHQ

I have existing PlayHQ account and would like to add AFLiD as a login option
If you have an existing PlayHQ account, you can add AFLiD as a login option so long as your PlayHQ email address and AFLiD email address are the same email address.
1. When you are completing an AFL registration, you can add your AFLiD during the registration process by logging into the AFLiD account with the same email address
2. You can visit the PlayHQ login page and click to login using AFLiD, once you are logged in, so long as it is using the same email address as your existing PlayHQ account, the AFLiD login option will be added to your existing PlayHQ account.
Two Login Options to PlayHQ account
Every PlayHQ account with an AFLiD connected to the account has two login options:
1. Logging in via Single Sign On (SSO) via clicking the AFLiD login button.
2. Logging in via typing in your PlayHQ email and password.
If you are unsure of your PlayHQ email and password, your email is always the same as your AFLiD account, and you can reset your password if required.
Changing my email address
In order to change your PlayHQ email address, you first need to disconnect your AFLiD via your profile, and you will then be able to change your email address. If you change your AFLiD email address via AFL iD, your PlayHQ account will automatically be disconnected from your PlayHQ account.
Login Options for PlayAFL app, PlayHQ admin portal and PlayHQ e-scoring portal
Logging in via Single Sign On (SSO) via AFLiD is not currently available as a login option for:
- PlayAFL app
- PlayHQ admin portal
- PlayHQ e-scoring portal
To login to these portals, users that usually login via Single Sign On (SSO) via AFLiD, are required to use their PlayHQ email and password combination.
If you are unsure of your PlayHQ email and password combination, your email is always the same as your AFLiD account, and you can reset your password if required.
