What is the PlayHQ Assistant?

PlayHQ Assistant is an AI-powered support tool built into your Admin Portal to answer questions and provide guidance about managing your organisation. 

You can think of it as a knowledgeable support representative available 24/7 to help you navigate PlayHQ's features and find the information you need.

How to access the PlayHQ Assistant

The Assistant is accessible from any page within the Admin Portal and draws on PlayHQ's comprehensive knowledge base (support.playhq.com) to provide contextualised responses for your sport and knows whether you're a club, association or administrative body admin.

Open the Assistant Panel

  1. Navigate to any page within your Admin Portal
  2. Look for the Assistant icon on the right-hand side of your screen
  3. Click to open the Assistant sidebar

 

Start Your Conversation

  1. Type your question in plain English in the message box
  2. Press Enter or click Send
  3. Review the response and ask follow-up questions as needed

There is an option to leave feedback on the response provided by the Assistant. This will allow the Assistant to improve response accuracy.

 

Important limitations

The PlayHQ Assistant can:

Share how to:

  • Set up competitions, programs, and events
  • Manage participant registrations and transfers
  • Manage reports and financial data
  • Troubleshoot common issues

It can also provide guidance on:

  • Best practices for organisation management
  • Workflow recommendations for common tasks

  • Using PlayHQ's various tools effectively

The PlayHQ Assistant cannot:

  • Make changes to your organisation's data, settings or configurations
  • Process payments or handle financial transactions
  • Access or modify sensitive participant information
  • Replace official PlayHQ support for complex technical issues
  • Provide real-time updates on system outages or maintenance

Getting Started

Try starting with simple questions like "How do I add a new competition?" or "Where can I find participant reports?". The Assistant learns from your questions and can provide increasingly helpful responses as you use it more.
