What you'll achieve
Configure smart reminders that help you prepare for matches, meet registration deadlines, receive important news from your club or association, and follow games that matter to you without overwhelming your phone with notifications.
Before you begin
Ensure you have any PlayHQ mobile app installed and are logged into your account with at least one profile in your account holding an active team registration.
Setting up notifications or reminders
- Tap the Profile icon in the top right-hand corner.
- Scroll down to the Notifications section.
- Personalise the push notifications which you would like to receive to your mobile device. These include:
- Live Game Updates to receive an alert when games that matter most to you are about to start, so you can follow the action!
- Team Schedule Updates to receive alerts about venue changes, time adjustments, and cancellations. You will receive a notification if changes to your team schedule occur within 10 days of an upcoming game.
- Registration Reminders to be alerted when your club has opened registrations for the upcoming season, so you don’t miss out.
- New Posts Reminders to know when your clubs or association has shared important news updates to your Activity Feed
If you encounter issues
- Too many notifications? Review your settings and disable categories that aren't of interest. You can modify your preferences anytime through the app settings.
- Missing important reminders? Check that PlayHQ has notification permissions enabled in your phone's main settings, else turn on "Allow Notifications" for the app. Check that you are still logged in to the PlayHQ mobile app so you receive notifications.
